1988

                Larry Rambin is hired as the school's first Athletic Director in August.

1990

Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Baseball programs are born. All teams began competition as a non-scholarship member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Carla Barham hired to lead the women's basketball program. The team began play for the 1990-91 season.

Leon Shaw hired to lead the men's basketball program. The team began play for the 1990-91 season.

Doug Robinson hired to lead the baseball program. The team began play for the 1991 season.

1995

Doug Robinson steps down as Head Coach of the baseball program to become the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Southwood High School. He finished with a career record of 42-103 as the LSUS baseball coach.

Former player, David Elledge hired to lead the baseball program.

1997

                Men's and Women's Basketball programs are discontinued while Baseball continues to be played.

David Elledge steps down as baseball head coach to become a teacher and Assistant Baseball Coach at Southwood High School. Coach Elledge finished with an overall record of 32-47 as Head Coach at LSUS.

Kit Laird hired to lead the baseball program.

1999       Kit Laird resigns as baseball coach and finishes with an overall record of 57-74 in two seasons.

                Rocke Musgraves hired to lead the baseball program.

2000

                LSU Shreveport joins the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.

2002

                Larry Rambin retires as Athletic Director. Doug Robinson is hired as the school's 2nd AD.

                Men's and Women's Basketball programs are reinstated.

                Chad McDowell hired to lead the men's basketball program. The team began play for the 2003-04 season.

                Ronnie Howell hired to lead the women's basketball program. The team began play for the 2003-04 season.

                All LSUS Athletics programs begin to offer scholarships.

                Baseball enjoys first winning season (29-28).

2003       Baseball (52-24) finished 3rd at the Avista-NAIA World Series in first ever appearance.

2005

                Women's Soccer program is born.

                Jed Jones hired to lead the women's soccer program. The team began play for the 2005 season.

                Men's Soccer program is born.

                Jed Jones named head coach of the men's soccer program. The team began play for the 2009 season.

                Women's Tennis program is born.

                Doug Robinson named head coach of the women's tennis program. The team began play for the 2010 season.

                LSU Shreveport leaves the GCAC to join the Red River Athletic Conference.

                Jed Jones resigns as men's and women's soccer coach.

                Krasi Kolarov becomes the 2nd Head Coach to lead the soccer program.

                Krasi Kolarov resigns as men's and women's soccer head coach.

                Mike Aguilar hired to lead the men's and women's soccer program.

                Baseball qualifies for Avista-NAIA World Series and finishes 4th.

2012

                Baseball sets record for wins (54-6). Achieves #1 NAIA Ranking. Qualifies and finishes 3rd at Avista-NAIA World Series.

Doug Robinson retires as AD. Chad McDowell is named as the school's 3rd Athletic Director, steps down as Head Men's Basketball Coach and finished with an overall record of 239-66 in nine seasons.

                Kyle Blankenship hired to lead the men's basketball program.

Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams are born.

                Chad McDowell named Cross Country Head Coach.

            Dragana Moran hired as women's tennis coach.

Rocke Musgraves steps down as Head Baseball Coach and finishes with an overall record of 588-275 in 14 seasons as he accepts same position at Northwest Nazarene University (NCAA DII) in Nampa, Idaho.

Former player and coach, Al Cantwell hired to lead the baseball program.

Ronnie Howell steps down as Head Women's Basketball Coach and finishes with an overall record of 194-137 in 11 seasons.

Former player Valerie Huizar hired to lead the Women's Basketball Program.

2016      

                Chad McDowell retires as Athletic Director to become Superintendent of Calvary Baptist Academy.

Valerie Huizar steps down as Women's Basketball Head Coach and finishes with an overall record of 41-21 in two seasons to become Assistant Coach at St. Mary's University (NCAA DII) in San Antonio, Texas-her hometown.

Lucas Morgan hired as 4th Athletic Director.

Curtis Loyd hired to lead the Women's Basketball Program.

Al Cantwell steps down as Head Baseball Coach as he finished with an overall record of 129-52 in three seasons.

                Former player and coach Brent Lavallee named Interim Coach to lead the baseball program.

               Adam Rabo hired to lead the men's and women's cross country programs.

               Ashley Holland hired to lead the reinstated women's soccer program.

               Phillip Bohn hired to lead the reinstated men's soccer program.

               Interim tag removed as Brent Lavallee is named Head Coach to lead the baseball program.
